Elanco completed a 25,000-square-foot expansion at its Elwood, Kansas manufacturing site to scale monoclonal antibody production capacity.
- Project lifts site output by more than four times via new upstream and downstream processing equipment.
- Investment totals $120 million, adding a pilot plant, a quality control lab, and support space.
- An additional $30 million of spending is planned through 2028 for warehousing, taking total investment to $150 million.
- Expanded capacity supports ramp-up of Befrena demand, with supply expected to reach unconstrained levels in early 2027.
