Elbit Systems Q2 profit, revenue jump
ESLT•Quarterly profit and revenue rise
JERUSALEM, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Elbit Systems ESLT.TA, Israel's largest defence firm, reported higher quarterly profit, boosted by double-digit sales growth helped by Israel's military conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran.
Elbit ESLT.O said on Tuesday it earned $4.14 per diluted share excluding one-time items in the second quarter, up from $3.23 a year earlier. Revenue was $2.29 billion, up from $1.97 billion.
Its order backlog as of June 30 reached a record $32 billion, with the increase mainly coming from Europe. Some 73% of the backlog is for orders outside of Israel.
Elbit said it would pay a quarterly dividend of $1.00 per share.
