Electra Battery Materials named Peter Rawlins chief financial officer, effective Aug. 26, 2026.
Rawlins spent 19 years at CIBC, most recently managing director in global mining and forest products capital markets. He later served as vice president and treasurer at Artemis Gold, securing financing for the Blackwater project.
Most recently, Rawlins was CFO at Premium Nickel, leading equity financings to fund drilling and recapitalization.
Interim CFO David Allen will stay part-time through construction completion, supporting delivery of the Ontario critical minerals refinery.
