Eli Lilly reported Phase 3 Triumph-1 data showing Retatrutide delivered an average 28.3% body weight reduction at 80 weeks in adults with obesity and up to a two-percentage-point decline in A1C among type 2 diabetes patients. The trial also noted improvements in knee osteoarthritis pain, sleep apnea symptoms, cholesterol levels and blood pressure, underscoring Retatrutide’s broad therapeutic potential.
2. Foundayo Menopause Trial Outcomes
Results from the Attain-1 and Attain-2 studies revealed that oral obesity drug Foundayo produced up to 14.4% weight loss in women across all stages of menopause after 72 weeks. The trials demonstrated consistent benefits in pre- and post-menopausal patients, including significant reductions in waist circumference and robust weight-loss milestones for those with type 2 diabetes.
