1. Foundayo Shows Significant Weight Reduction Across Menopause Stages
Foundayo, Lilly’s first oral GLP-1 weight-loss pill, delivered an average 30.4-lb (14.4%) reduction in perimenopausal women and 28.2-lb (14.1%) in postmenopausal participants over 72 weeks in the ATTAIN-1 trial, with 51.5% achieving at least 15% bodyweight loss. In the ATTAIN-2 trial involving type 2 diabetes patients, postmenopausal women lost up to 27.8 lbs (13.6%), and waist circumference decreased by up to 4.9 inches.
2. Retatrutide Data Strengthens Obesity Pipeline
Retatrutide’s 4 mg dose produced a 19% average weight reduction in obese and type 2 diabetes patients across two trials, approaching the efficacy of Lilly’s highest Zepbound dose while maintaining tolerability.
