Eli Lilly's olomorasib combination achieves 62% response rate in first-line lung cancer trial
LLY•Eli Lilly said combinations of investigational olomorasib and pembrolizumab, with or without chemotherapy, achieved a 62% response rate in a first-line lung cancer trial. Initial randomized Phase 3 results from SUNRAY-01 are expected in the first half of 2027; olomorasib is unapproved.
1. Trial findings
Data presented at ESMO 2026 showed durable responses with investigational olomorasib combinations in first-line KRAS G12C-mutant non-small cell lung cancer. The combinations with pembrolizumab, with or without chemotherapy, showed activity across PD-L1 expression levels.
2. Safety and next results
Safety findings were consistent with previous reports, though treatment-related adverse events led some patients to discontinue treatment. Initial randomized Phase 3 results from SUNRAY-01 are expected in the first half of 2027; olomorasib remains unapproved.
