Elisa partners with Nvidia, Nokia to advance commercial AI-RAN in Finland

Elisa is working with NVIDIA and Nokia to validate AI-RAN in a live commercial network in Finland in 2027, following Helsinki trials on a 5G Advanced network.

1. AI-RAN trials

Elisa completed Helsinki trials that ran voice, mobile data and video analytics simultaneously on a shared AI-RAN platform over a 5G Advanced network. Dell servers with NVIDIA GPUs will be deployed across multiple Finnish network locations to support AI inference workloads and future AI-RAN services.
