Elme Communities moved closer to selling Riverside Apartments in Alexandria, Virginia, for $250 million under a previously disclosed agreement.
- The inspection period expired on Aug. 20, making the $4 million earnest money deposit nonrefundable, subject to limited exceptions.
- Closing is scheduled no later than Sept. 14, with the deal expected to close on that date.
