ELME•Elme Communities will transfer its assets and liabilities to its liquidating trust on Nov. 6, 2026. Common-share beneficial owners will become qualified beneficiaries, and Mark E. Chertok will serve as successor trustee.
1. Trust transfer
Elme Communities will transfer its assets and liabilities to its liquidating trust on Nov. 6, 2026. Beneficial owners of its common shares will become qualified beneficiaries upon the transfer. Trust interests will be uncertificated and nontransferable, except through wills, intestate succession or operation of law; Mark E. Chertok will begin serving as successor trustee.
