Elmet Group unit wins DLA contract worth about $36 million for aerospace materials
ELMT•Elmet Technologies won a Defense Logistics Agency contract worth about $36 million to supply aerospace-grade molybdenum and tungsten materials for the U.S. National Defense Stockpile. The award is separate from a previously announced DLA contract with a $2 billion ceiling and $150 million funded commitment.
1. Contract materials
Elmet Technologies will supply TZM alloy billets, bar stock, ingots, precision molybdenum wire and tungsten wire under the approximately $36 million contract. The award is separate from Elmet’s previously announced DLA indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, which has a $2 billion ceiling and a $150 million funded commitment.
