Employers Holdings Appoints 30-Year Insurance Veteran Stephanie C. Bush to Board
EIG•Employers Holdings elected Stephanie C. Bush, a 30-year insurance executive, to its Board of Directors with service beginning July 1, 2026. Bush’s leadership in underwriting, product management and small commercial lines at The Hartford and Travelers is expected to strengthen Employers Holdings’ governance and distribution strategies.
1. Director Appointment
On June 25, 2026, Employers Holdings’ board elected Stephanie C. Bush to serve as a director, with her term commencing July 1, 2026.
2. Industry Experience
Bush retired from The Hartford in March 2024 after over 30 years in underwriting, product management and small commercial and personal lines. Her career includes a 2008–2012 tenure as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Travelers and advisory board roles at Lightyear Capital and CUNA Mutual.
3. Strategic Implications
Her deep expertise in small commercial lines and digital distribution is expected to enhance Employers Holdings’ product development, risk management and governance, supporting the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
