EHC•Encompass Health and Piedmont opened a 40-bed, 52,000-square-foot Eastside Rehabilitation Hospital in Loganville, Georgia, marking the ninth Georgia facility and eighth joint venture with Piedmont. The facility offers a minimum three hours of daily therapy, 24-hour nursing and private rooms, expanding the company’s inpatient rehab network.
1. Loganville Rehabilitation Hospital Launch
On June 9, Encompass Health and Piedmont opened the Eastside Rehabilitation Hospital in Loganville, Georgia. The 40-bed inpatient facility serves Gwinnett County and surrounding areas, providing local access to post-acute care.
2. Comprehensive Rehabilitative Services
The 52,000-square-foot hospital features private patient rooms, a state-of-the-art therapy gym, activities of daily living suite, in-house dialysis suite and 24-hour nursing care. Patients receive at least three hours of intensive therapy five days a week, with frequent physician visits and customized treatment plans.
3. Joint Venture Expansion Strategy
This opening marks the ninth Encompass Health hospital in Georgia and the eighth joint venture with Piedmont. The partnership aligns with Encompass Health’s strategy to grow its 176-hospital network through collaborations that expand market presence and service capabilities.
