Encompass Health plans a 24-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Richmond, Texas, expected to open in 2028 as a satellite of its Sugar Land hospital.

1. Planned facility

The hospital would expand rehabilitation capacity in Fort Bend County. It is Encompass Health’s second planned small-format hospital in the greater Houston area, following a facility planned in Conroe.
