Enel Chile says H1 2026 profit rises 10.7% on improved operating performance
ENIC•H1 profit rises on improved operations
Enel Chile posted net profit attributable to shareholders of US$ 272 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, up 10.7% on improved operations.
EBITDA rose 3.9% to US$ 685 million as costs fell; procurement and services costs slipped 2.4% to US$ 1.38 billion.
Generation output fell on weaker hydro dispatch
Generation output fell 5% to 10,898 GWh on weaker hydro dispatch, partly offset by higher solar and combined-cycle production.
Financial expense widened on foreign-exchange losses
Net financial expense widened to US$ 121 million from US$ 84 million, driven mainly by foreign-exchange losses.
Revenue was steady, but second-quarter sales weakened
Operating revenue held at US$ 2.27 billion; second-quarter revenue fell 9% to on lower energy sales.
