Enel Chile says improved operations lifted nine-month net profit 10.7% to $390 million through September 2026
ENIC•Enel Chile attributed a 10.7% increase in nine-month 2026 net profit to $390 million to improved operations. EBITDA rose 1.7% to $1.02 billion, while revenue was broadly unchanged at $3.48 billion.
1. Nine-month results
Enel Chile reported net profit of $390 million for the nine months through September 2026, up 10.7%, which management attributed to improved operations. EBITDA increased 1.7% to $1.02 billion, supported by lower generation fuel costs and reduced variable procurement and service expenses.
2. Revenue and expenses
Revenue was broadly unchanged at $3.48 billion, as weaker generation revenue was offset by higher distribution energy sales. Net financial expenses rose to $179 million from $157 million, mainly reflecting larger foreign-exchange losses and lower financial income.
3. Third-quarter profit
Third-quarter net profit increased by $11 million to $118 million, partly reflecting lower net financial expenses driven by foreign-exchange gains.
