1. Earnings and revenue
Enerflex attributed third-quarter 2026 net earnings growth to USD 55 million primarily to lower redemption-option losses, financing costs and taxes. Revenue fell to USD 623 million from USD 777 million, mainly reflecting lower Engineered Systems revenue in North America and the Eastern Hemisphere. Adjusted EBITDA declined to USD 129 million from USD 145 million, which management attributed primarily to operational performance.
2. Cash flow and backlog
Operating cash flow rose to USD 147 million from USD 74 million, driven by customer collections, advance billings and deposits. Engineered Systems backlog reached USD 2.14 billion, primarily driven by a newly awarded data-center power generation project in North America.
