
Energy Fuels produced 1.6 million pounds of finished U3O8 from January through June, meeting its 2026 guidance range of 1.5–2.5 million pounds. The company plans Phase 1 White Mesa Mill modifications starting July to enable commercial heavy REE production by late 2027.
Energy Fuels reported 1.6 million pounds of finished U3O8 produced at the White Mesa Mill from January through June, representing an average of over 265,000 pounds per month. This output falls within its full-year 2026 guidance range of 1.5–2.5 million pounds, with the current processing campaign set to conclude by end of June.
Starting July 2026, the company will begin Phase 1 modifications at the White Mesa Mill to add circuits for commercial heavy REE production, including Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb and Dy. Permitting is on schedule, with operations expected to commence in late 2027 and Phase 2 expansion boosting NdPr capacity to 6,300 tpa and Dy to 288 tpa.
Mining, processing and transport costs at Pinyon Plain remain between $23–$30 per pound, while White Mesa Mill uranium processing costs are at historic lows of $9–$12 per pound. Conventional mine grades dipped in H1 but are expected to improve in H2, with ore mining volumes of 750,000–850,000 pounds of contained U3O8 in the first half.
