EnerSys jumps after Q1 profit beat

Q1 profit beats estimates and shares rise
Stored energy solutions provider EnerSys' shares ENS rose 13% to $24.30 after the company posted first-quarter adjusted EPS of $3.66, beating analysts' estimates of $2.83, according to data compiled by LSEG.
The company said growth was driven by strong demand in data centers, communications and aerospace & defense.
EnerSys Q1 sales were $935.6 million, up from $893 million a year ago.
