Eni completed the sale of Nigerian subsidiary Agip Energy and Natural Resources (AENR) to Apex Global Energy on October 26, 2026. Apex is wholly owned by Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production. AENR operates in Nigerian onshore and shallow-water exploration and production, and holds a 5% stake in the Renaissance joint venture.
