Ennostar Qualifies Veeco’s High-Capacity LUMINA+ MOCVD System for High-Volume As/P Production
VECO•Veeco’s LUMINA+ MOCVD system achieved first commercial qualification by Ennostar for arsenide phosphide production, marking the industry’s largest-capacity As/P reactor with record throughput. The qualification follows an evaluation since late 2025 at Taiwan facilities and positions Veeco to capture microLED and optoelectronic device market growth.
1. Qualification by Ennostar
Veeco’s LUMINA+ MOCVD system completed commercial acceptance by Ennostar in June 2026, following an evaluation that began in late 2025 at Taiwan facilities. This first qualification validates the platform’s readiness for high-volume arsenide phosphide production.
2. LUMINA+ System Features
Featuring the industry’s largest reactor capacity for arsenide and phosphide processes, LUMINA+ combines TurboDisc® technology with breakthrough throughput to meet stringent performance requirements and enable scalable product qualification.
3. Market and Growth Prospects
Industry forecasts project the microLED display panel market to approach $7 billion by 2032 at an 87% CAGR, driven by AR/VR, television, automotive, optical communications and biosensing applications. The qualification positions Veeco to capitalize on this growth by supplying high-performance equipment at scale.
