Enova report finds 93% of small business owners expect growth over next year
ENVA•A Nov. 3 report from OnDeck and Ocrolus found 93% of small businesses expect growth over the next year, while 75% of businesses seeking capital bypassed traditional banks.
1. Small business outlook
The report found that 68% of small businesses were on track to meet or beat their 2026 profit plans, and applicants’ median monthly revenue had rebounded 6% from the second quarter. Median fintech loan inflows rose 11% year over year.
2. Technology and concerns
AI adoption reached 61% of small businesses, with 90% of users reporting a measurable positive impact. Inflation remained the leading concern at 36%, while cash flow concerns eased for a second consecutive quarter to 28%.
