Enphase IQ Meter Collar wins approval from 80 US, Canada utilities

Enphase said 80 utilities in the U.S. and Canada now allow behind-the-meter installation of its IQ Meter Collar.
The device can enable whole-home backup without rewiring circuits to a backup sub-panel, potentially speeding battery deployments.
Coverage includes major California utilities and Hawaiian Electric
Approvals cover utilities serving more than 38 million customers, including California’s three major investor-owned utilities and SMUD.
Hawaiian Electric cleared initial pilot installations, with full authorization expected in coming months.
