Ensysce cautions psilocybin pilot observations do not establish efficacy
ENSC•Ensysce Biosciences said observations from a small, uncontrolled psilocybin pilot do not establish efficacy for its CRPS treatment program; participants received a formulation supplied under Oregon’s program, not its CY200 candidate. No participants have enrolled in the planned UK Phase 2 trial, and a regulatory decision on the application submitted September 11, 2026, is expected in early December.
1. Pilot observations and trial status
Ensysce Biosciences cautioned that observations from a small, uncontrolled psilocybin pilot should not be interpreted as evidence of efficacy for its CRPS treatment program. Participants received a formulation supplied under Oregon’s psilocybin program, not CY200, and no participants have enrolled in the planned UK Phase 2 trial of the candidate for CRPS Type 1. The clinical trial application was submitted on September 11, 2026, with a regulatory decision expected in early December 2026.
