Entergy names David Borde president, CEO of Entergy Texas
ETR•Entergy named David Borde president and CEO of Entergy Texas, effective Oct. 5. He succeeds Eliecer Viamontes, who left the company for other opportunities.
1. Leadership change
Borde was vice president for utility strategy and regulatory initiatives, supporting Entergy operating companies on tariff filings and strategic counsel. He previously led investor relations, held utility finance roles, worked in Citigroup’s investment banking division and practiced law at Simpson Thacher.
