Envirotech Vehicles placed an order for approximately 3 MW of modular digital infrastructure equipment to deploy at its South Texas energy-integrated data center pilot. The containerized, liquid-cooled modules are designed for high-density digital workloads and will integrate power management, thermal control, and networking components in self-contained units.

The company entered a definitive agreement with YA II PN to issue up to $11 million in debentures in two tranches, securing $10.5 million in gross proceeds after a $25,000 fee. Envirotech issued the first $4 million tranche on March 6, 2026, resulting in $3.8 million net proceeds, with the remaining $7 million closing upon SEC registration and customary conditions.

Initial hardware has been energized and connected to onsite power, beginning a phased commissioning process expected to take two weeks. The first modular system is undergoing operational testing for power stability, thermal management, and system monitoring while additional components are installed.

Data and insights from the South Texas pilot will inform feasibility studies for scaling modular computing infrastructure at energy-adjacent sites. If successful, this framework could be applied to locations with stranded or underutilized energy resources to support advanced computing applications such as HPC and AI.
