Eos Energy wins Google-backed order for 100 MWh long-duration storage in West Virginia project

Solar is expected online in 2028, lithium-ion storage in 2029 and the Eos long-duration system in 2030.
The order marks Google’s first deployment of Eos’ Z3 technology and is the first project under the MN8-Eos master supply agreement.
MN8 selects Eos for Mammoth Solar storage project
MN8 selected Eos to supply a 10 MW/100 MWh Z3 zinc-based long-duration storage system for the Mammoth Solar project in West Virginia.
The project portfolio includes 86 MW solar and 70 MW/280 MWh lithium-ion storage. Google will buy the energy, capacity and clean energy attributes.
