ePlus Appoints IBM Canada President John Lutz to Board, Joins Audit and Compensation
PLUS•ePlus named John Lutz, a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience including roles as President of IBM Canada and Vice Chancellor of IT at Vanderbilt University, to its Board of Directors. He will join the Audit and Compensation Committees, bringing deep expertise in global operations, M&A, go-to-market and services delivery.
1. Appointment Details
John Lutz has been appointed to the ePlus Board of Directors and will serve on both the Audit and Compensation Committees. His addition expands the board’s oversight capabilities as the company continues scaling its technology services.
2. Vanderbilt and IBM Tenure
Lutz currently serves as Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Relations at Vanderbilt University, after overseeing institutional IT strategy and operations. Prior to Vanderbilt, he spent the majority of his career at IBM in leadership roles including General Manager for Global Financial Services, General Manager of Global Process Services and President of IBM Canada.
3. Strategic Contributions
Lutz’s track record in P&L management, operational transformation and global go-to-market execution aligns with ePlus’s focus on AI, security, cloud, data center, networking, collaboration and managed services. His board role is expected to reinforce governance and support growth initiatives in mergers, acquisitions and service delivery.
