Equinor said an incorrect share count appeared in two prior disclosures on its employee share buyback program. The corrected total transaction value for the affected figures was NOK 1.143847326 billion, including the Aug. 19, 2026 disclosure.
2. Latest transaction
On Sept. 15, 2026, Equinor repurchased 379,361 shares at an average price of NOK 419.1253, for NOK 158,999,793. Total repurchases under the program reached 3,778,442 shares, with a cumulative value of NOK 1.302847119 billion. Following the transaction, Equinor held 19,798,825 treasury shares, equal to 0.83% of its share capital.
