Equinor Secures Nkr3bn Wireline Extension, Concludes Dry Skoll-Hati Drilling

EQNREQNR

Equinor agreed a three-year extension of its Nkr3bn wireline and intervention services contract with Archer on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, securing service continuity through 2029. It also completed drilling at Skoll and Hati east of Visund without hydrocarbon finds, highlighting limited near-term exploration upside.

1. Three-year Wireline Contract Extension

Equinor has extended its integrated wireline and intervention services agreement with Archer and its alliance partners by three years on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with a total commitment of Nkr3bn. This fixed-term extension replaces optional renewals and ensures uninterrupted well services through 2029.

2. Skoll and Hati Drilling Outcome

Equinor and co-licensees concluded drilling of the 34/8-A-37 H wildcat well in production licence 120, east of the Visund A platform, without discovering hydrocarbons. The dry results at Skoll and Hati underscore limited near-term exploration upside in that sector of the North Sea.
