Equinor shut production at the Visund platform on Wednesday after a fire in an electrical system. The flames were put out, a company spokesperson said.
2. Workers evacuated
Between 70 and 80 of the 128 people on board were moved to nearby installations. The spokesperson said repairs are needed and it is too early to say when production can restart.
3. Ownership
Visund mostly produces gas. Equinor owns 53.2% of the platform, Petoro 30%, ConocoPhillips 9.1% and Repsol 7.7%.
