ERCOT Says This Week Will Feature Hottest Temperatures Of The Year In The State

July 20 (Reuters) - Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT):

• Says this week will feature the hottest temperatures of the year thus far as upper-level high pressure settles over the state.
• Says ERCOT will monitor the tropical system in the Gulf.
• Says ERCOT is expecting moderately high to high demand with peaks in the mid-80,000- to lower-90,000-megawatt range.
