EstrellaTV Delivers 14% P18–49 Prime-Time Growth with 57% 4Q25 Surge

MediaCo Holding Inc reported EstrellaTV achieved a 14% year-over-year increase in P18–49 prime-time viewership in 2025, its first annual prime-time growth since 2018. The network posted three consecutive quarterly P18–49 prime-time gains, capped by a record 57% jump in 4Q25 that doubled its prior annual gain of 6%.

1. EstrellaTV Records Unprecedented Prime-Time Audience Surge

MediaCo Holding Inc. reported that EstrellaTV achieved a 14% year-over-year increase in Adults 18–49 Mon–Sun prime-time audience during 2025, marking the network’s first annual prime-time growth since 2018 and the largest annual gain in its 16-year history. This performance more than doubled the previous record of a 6% annual increase and was driven by three consecutive quarterly gains: a 23% uplift in 2Q25, a 0.3% increase in 3Q25 and a historic 57% jump in 4Q25—the largest quarterly year-over-year gain on record. Monthly data showed positive audience trends in nine of the last thirteen months of 2025, including two straight Decembers of year-over-year growth. Late-night programming was a key contributor in December, with the flagship Noticiero Cierre de Edición (10 p.m.) delivering a P18–49 monthly average of 35,200 viewers and the late-fringe block (11 p.m.–1 a.m.) posting its highest quarterly performance led by Alarma TV and Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento.

2. MediaCo and Sigma Launch National Multicultural Audio Network

In a strategic expansion, MediaCo partnered with Sigma Audio Networks LLC to create a unified national audio platform targeting Hispanic, Black, Asian American and bicultural audiences. The new network offers advertisers a single, scalable buy across premium radio programming, digital audio and culturally rooted live events, addressing long-standing fragmentation in multicultural audio buying. Drawing on brands such as WBLS-FM, HOT97, EstrellaTV and Que Buena Los Angeles, Sigma Audio leverages MediaCo’s monthly reach of over 20 million to deliver efficient national reach aligned with modern agency workflows. Leadership highlights include Elisa Torres as President and CEO of Sigma Audio, and MediaCo’s Chief Revenue Officer, Brian Fisher, underscoring decades of operational expertise and cultural insight. Industry endorsement came from AAF Hall of Famer Daisy Expósito-Ulla and former Omnicom executive Michael Roca, who noted the network’s timeliness given the rapid growth of multicultural consumer segments and the need for scale with cultural precision.
