Estée Lauder FY26 net earnings turn to profit at $182 million; net sales rise 5% to $15.05 billion

The Estée Lauder Companies posted net earnings attributable to shareholders of $182 million, swinging from a loss a year earlier.
Operating income turned positive at $780 million; operating margin widened 10.7 percentage points to 5.2%.
Net sales rose 5% to $15.05 billion, helped by $7.34 billion in skin care and $2.78 billion in fragrance.
Restructuring charges and program outlook
Restructuring and other charges increased to $813 million; an $84 million securities class action litigation settlement was recorded.
The company expects the restructuring program to cut about 10,000 positions and deliver about $1.2 billion in annual gross benefits.
