eToro agrees to buy TradeZero for up to $231 million
ETOR•eToro to acquire TradeZero
- eToro agreed to buy active-trader brokerage TradeZero to deepen its U.S. presence and add broker-dealer infrastructure with Canada market access.
- Purchase consideration is up to $231 million, split between cash and up to 2,500,000 newly issued eToro Class A shares.
- TradeZero generated about $80 million of revenue in the last 12 months, with 81% gross margins.
- The deal is expected to be accretive to adjusted EPS in the first year after closing.
- Closing is targeted for the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
