The European Commission cleared Paramount Skydance’s acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, a key step toward closing under the stated timeline.
Paramount Skydance said 65 jurisdictions have cleared the deal or opted not to challenge it on competition or foreign investment grounds.
The company reiterated plans for the combined group to release at least 30 films a year with full theatrical runs, starting immediately.
