EU Commission sells 2029 EU-Bonds at average yield of 3.613%
TLT•The European Commission auctioned EU-Bonds on behalf of the European Union, allotting 2.184 billion euros of 2029 bonds at a weighted average yield of 3.613%. It also allotted 2.375 billion euros of 2035 bonds at 4.003% and 1.703 billion euros of 2048 bonds at 4.545%.
1. Auction results
The European Commission, on behalf of the European Union, auctioned three EU-Bond issues on September 28, 2026. It allotted 2.184 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2029, 2.375 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2035 and 1.703 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2048.
2. Yields and demand
Weighted average yields were 3.613% for the 2029 issue, 4.003% for the 2035 issue and 4.545% for the 2048 issue. Cover ratios were 1.10, 2.10 and 1.09, respectively.
