EU Commission sells 3-month EU-Bills at average yield of 2.682%
TLT•The European Commission sold EU-Bills at a weighted average yield of 2.682% for bills maturing in January 2027, 2.929% for April 2027 and 3.228% for October 2027. It allotted 1.211 billion, 1.423 billion and 1.823 billion euros, respectively.
1. Auction results
The European Commission, on behalf of the European Union, held an EU-Bills auction on Oct. 21. It allotted 1.211 billion euros for bills maturing on Jan. 8, 2027, at a weighted average yield of 2.682%; 1.423 billion euros for bills maturing on April 9, 2027, at 2.929%; and 1.823 billion euros for bills maturing on Oct. 8, 2027, at 3.228%. Cover ratios were 1.76, 1.45 and 1.36, respectively.
