EU wheat steadies ahead of USDA data

Euronext December milling wheat was unchanged at €236.25 a metric ton by 1455 GMT, after rising earlier to €239.25. Traders cited caution ahead of the USDA’s quarterly U.S. grain stocks data, due later Wednesday, while continuing attacks in Russia’s war with Ukraine and a lack of progress on a Black Sea shipping truce supported prices.
2. Monthly and export details
The December contract was down about 3.5% over September after retreating from a contract high of €259.25 at the start of the month. Pakistan booked 180,000 tons of wheat in a tender, traders said, while a vessel was due to load French wheat for Yemen at Dunkirk later in the week.
