European gas prices rise on U.S.-Iran deadlock and sanctions concerns
LONDON, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Benchmark Dutch and British wholesale gas prices edged up on Thursday morning amid the impasse in talks for deal to end the U.S.-Iran war and concerns about tighter U.S. sanctions on Iran.
The benchmark Dutch front-month contract at the TTF hub TFMBMc1 edged up by €0.57 to €63.95 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) by 0745 GMT, ICE data showed.
The British front-month contract NGLNMc1 rose by 1.56 pence to 157.95 pence per therm.
