Single stocks among the gainers

Among single stocks, Maurel & Prom MAUP.PA, Vaar Energi VAR.OL and Equinor EQNR.OL were up 1.7%, 1.9% and 2%, respectively.

Repsol REP.MC, Galp Energia GALP.LS and TotalEnergies TTEF.PA rose around 0.6%.

Shell SHEL.L and BP BP.L were up around 0.5%.

Crude prices jump on recent developments

Oil prices jumped after the recent developments, with Brent futures rising to a barrel by 07:05 GMT and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude soaring to a barrel.
