Eve Air Mobility completes first partial transition flight for eVTOL prototype
ERJ•Next test plans
Eve plans to expand the flight envelope, including datalink tests to support operations at speeds up to 50 knots.
First partial transition flight completed
Eve Air Mobility completed its first partial transition flight for its eVTOL engineering prototype, activating the rear pusher propeller in air.
The test reached a stabilized 27 knots, a 30-knot maximum ground speed, with the pusher running up to 1,200 RPM.
Flight time was 3 minutes 9 seconds, covering about 0.84 nautical miles, reaching 90 feet above ground level.
