MOU for floating offshore wind-powered AI compute pilot
D. Boral Arc Acquisition I Corp.-related Exascale signed a non-binding MOU with EnergyBank to develop off-grid AI compute powered by floating offshore wind.
Initial pilot targets up to 800 kW of firm compute capacity on the Zephyros-One floating turbine operated by Sustainable Energy Norway.
The parties aim to build a repeatable architecture for larger deployments, potentially targeting up to 10 MW of firm compute capacity per turbine.
EnergyBank expects to fund the pilot through private investment, potentially supplemented by public funding.
