Expand Energy to buy Twin Eagle for $1.25 billion

Twin Eagle is expected to add more than $200 million of projected annual EBITDA, and annual synergies are projected at $150 million by the end of 2028.
Asset-backed gas marketing platform
Expand said the deal adds an asset-backed gas marketing platform. Twin Eagle markets more than 5 Bcf/d, manages about 44 Bcf of storage and holds about 2 Bcf/d of firm transport.
On a pro forma basis, marketed volume is seen at about 14 Bcf/d, supported by about 9 Bcf/d of firm transport and 49 Bcf of storage.
Expand Energy to acquire Twin Eagle
Expand Energy said it will buy Twin Eagle from Five Point Infrastructure for $1.25 billion, subject to customary purchase price adjustments.
The company said the deal is targeted to close in Q3 2026 and will be funded through cash on hand and borrowings under its revolving credit facility.
