ExxonMobil to conduct offshore pipeline maintenance in Guyana
XOM•ExxonMobil will begin maintenance on a near-shore section of an offshore pipeline near Crane on Oct. 14, with work expected to continue until about Dec. 1.
1. Maintenance schedule
ExxonMobil said the work follows an issue identified during inspections earlier this year. The pipeline is pressurized with nitrogen and is not yet operational; the company said it poses no risk to the public or environment during maintenance. ExxonMobil aims to complete repairs before the startup of Guyana's Gas-to-Energy project.
