FAA approves Boeing request to sell 35 additional 777F freighters

WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration on Thursday said it approved a waiver of airplane emissions rules to allow Boeing BA.N to sell another 35 777F freighters after 2028.
The waiver will allow Boeing to sell the planes for another three years after new emissions rules take effect on Jan. 1, 2028 that would have barred the sale of the plane. Boeing in December 2025 had requested approval citing strong customer demand and a delay in the next-generation plane's certification.
