- Fabric.AI formed a joint steering committee with Kopin to drive development, commercialization planning for the Neural I/o MicroLED optical interconnect platform.
- Michael Murray, Kopin’s CEO, will chair the committee, giving the collaboration a formal governance structure as it moves toward market readiness.
- Work will incorporate feedback from AI infrastructure groups, including new NDAs with prospective participants tied to NVIDIA’s NVLink ecosystem.
- Neural I/o remains slated for its first live public demonstration at CES 2027 in January.
