1. Fed schedule
The FOMC is scheduled to meet on October 27-28 and December 8-9, 2026; seven times in 2027; and January 25-26, 2028. Statements are scheduled for release at 2 p.m. on the second day of each meeting, followed by news conferences expected at 2:30 p.m.
2. Upcoming events
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh is scheduled to participate in an IMF Annual Meeting fireside chat on October 15. Other listed events include appearances by Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee and Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack, FOMC minutes and Beige Book releases, and the quarterly Financial Accounts of the United States release.
