1. Upcoming policy events
The FOMC is scheduled to meet on October 27-28 and December 8-9, 2026, with meetings continuing through January 25-26, 2028. Statements are scheduled for release at 2 p.m. on the second day of each meeting, followed by news conferences expected at 2:30 p.m.
2. Officials and releases
Federal Reserve officials have public events scheduled from October 30 through November 19. Meeting minutes for the October 27-28, 2026 meeting are scheduled for November 18, and the Beige Book is scheduled for November 25. The Fed is scheduled to release its quarterly Financial Accounts of the United States on December 10.
