Fed's Warsh suggests Jackson Hole speech will be very big picture

NEW YORK, July 29 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh said Wednesday that he had yet to decide what he will say at his planned speech for the central bank's Jackson Hole, Wyoming, conference scheduled for late next month.

Speaking in a press conference following the latest Federal Open Market Committee meeting, Warsh said when it comes to his remarks, he had yet to make any judgments on what he would say. But he did suggest he would take a step back in his remarks and said “if I could, in the high mountain air in Jackson, Wyoming, I'd like to also frame the big questions: There is a tendency, especially with the proliferation of meetings and press conferences, to get caught up in the myopic.”
