FEMSA’s Tiendas Bara opens MXN 240 million Tlajomulco distribution center in Jalisco

FEMSA’s Tiendas Bara opened a new distribution center in Tlajomulco, Jalisco, with an initial investment of MXN 240 million.
The facility spans more than 10,000 square meters and is designed to supply up to 400 stores. Operations started on Aug. 17 with 69 stores served.
Tiendas Bara targets MXN 3.75 billion of investment in Jalisco during 2026-2031. The plan includes up to 6,000 jobs.
The store count served by the site reached 144 in September. Headcount stands at 122, and the target exceeds 250 employees next year.
